Summary
SSIM Toolkit is a local desktop app. Your schedule files are read and analysed on your own machine and are never uploaded to us. We don't operate a server that holds your data, and we don't sell anything we collect. The sections below explain the little we do collect (only if you opt in), what we never touch, and how to reach us.
What stays on your device
- Your schedule files — opened, parsed, and analysed locally. They never leave your machine.
- Everything derived from them — parsed records, query results, exports, bookmarks, and notes all live on-device.
What we may collect
- Licence & account information — the email and organisation used to issue your team licence, plus what's needed to verify activation.
- Anonymous usage telemetry (opt-in) — which features are used and aggregate error reports, to improve the product. Never your file contents, records, or paths.
What we never collect
- The contents of any schedule file you open, or any record parsed from it.
- Personal data the parser pulls out of records.
- Any third-party analytics or ad-tracking data.
When the network is used
The app may reach the network to verify your licence and to check for updates. Neither of these carries any of your schedule content — only what's required to confirm a licence or fetch a release. You can run the product fully offline within your licence's grace period.
Your rights
Because your schedule data lives on your machine, you control it directly — delete it whenever you like. For the limited licence and telemetry data we hold, you can request a copy, correct anything inaccurate, or have it deleted. Email privacy@activeflights.com; we respond within 30 days (typically within 48 hours).
