Terms of service
Last updated 2026-05-12 · Effective on GA
Summary
These terms describe what you and Active Flights agree to when you use our products. The full document below covers acceptable use, payment, intellectual property, liability, and termination. If anything is unclear, email legal@activeflights.com.
Acceptable use
You may use Active Flights for any lawful business purpose. You may not use it to attack our infrastructure, abuse usage caps, resell access without permission, or facilitate the violation of others' rights.
Beta access
During the private and public beta, the service is provided as-is, with no SLA. We may invite, throttle, or revoke access to ensure stability. We will notify you in advance of any change that materially affects your usage.
Payment
The Early Access Preview is free. Once paid plans are available, SSIM Toolkit is licensed per team seat (minimum 3 seats), billed annually or monthly in advance, in USD; monthly billing carries a premium over the annual rate. There is no usage-based or per-row charge. Failed payments may suspend access to new activations after a 14-day grace period.
Intellectual property
You retain ownership of your data, your schedule files, and your parsed records. SSIM Toolkit processes them entirely on your own machine — your schedule data is never uploaded to us, so we never receive or hold it. Active Flight Labs, Inc retains ownership of the software, brand, and underlying technology.
Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with notice. Because your schedule data lives entirely on your own machine, there is nothing for us to export or hand back on termination — it was never uploaded to us. Any anonymised, opt-in usage statistics we hold are aggregate and contain no schedule data.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Active Flights' liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Standard disclaimers apply for indirect and consequential damages.
Changes
We'll update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced by email at least 30 days before they take effect; you'll have the opportunity to opt out by terminating your contract.
This is a working draft for the beta. The legally-effective version of the terms will be published when paid plans open.
